Lions International Peace Essay Contest

The Lions International Peace Essay Contest invites visually impaired children aged 11 to 13 to share what peace means to them through writing. Each year, Lions clubs in New Zealand and around the world sponsor this contest in schools and youth groups, encouraging young people to express their thoughts and feelings on the annual theme.

Participants not only gain the opportunity to share their voice with a global audience, but one talented writer will also receive US $5,000, an award, and an invitation to a special Lions International event.
